I'm posting a pre-emptive hiatus in the hopes that the reason for the hiatus will resolve itself now that I've made a hiatus post.

About three hours ago my computer refused to restart. Since then I have been working my way through every single trick in the book in the hopes of not having to do a complete erase and reinstall. If you have any tech experience with MacBooks and OS X then my problem is here.

Right now I am using my five year old laptop which I had handed down to my little brother a year ago when I got this shiny new one. Needless to say, it is on it's last legs as it is and isn't really fit for regular use. I may be able to borrow my father's laptop, which is shiny-new, but I will still be missing the icons I removed in order to fit in the curse ones and likely won't be checking my email as regularly as one could hope.

So if you've got a moment say a prayer to the computer gods for me, and pretend George (not_alaska) is doing her regular thing. I may get a post up for her tomorrow regarding the investigation of the Social Club plot and the scarecrows, but I can't guarantee it. If not, assume she's out helping people and saving the day, etc. Seras/Logan, Riza, and Luke have godmod privilages, if they're not all on AX!hiatus. Uh. You know when it begins that way that it never ends well, right? Well, I've been thinking about this for a bit now, and I think I'm going to have to drop Owen. Unfortunately Owen and Puck don't seem to be as well-suited to the style of this game, and I currently lack means to combat that. One of the things that makes these two interesting (at least to me) is that you *don't* necessarily know what they're thinking until they do it. Journals, by nature, tend to require the spilling of some thought. Meanwhile, I'm also sadly lacking the time to keep up with everything at the moment.

If I can think of another way to approach these issues, I may pick them up again in the future, as I have played them before and really love doing so. Meanwhile, thanks to everyone who interacted with them, and my particular thanks and regrets to the Hellsing cast for taking him in and giving him a job.

Owen leaves Integral (steeldame) an additional (and somewhat strange) encryption code that she can use if she chooses that tends to loop back crazily on anyone attempting to hack it, almost as though it had a mind of its own. Oh man. This month so far has ROCKED! Being a kid again was fun. Even if I was crushing on Kuromi. The random fish in our beds was kinda weird though. But heheh, it was fun seeing Baku again, even if aniki was pissed.

The fireworks yesterday kinda made me miss being back home. I was in America studying before I came here. Sebastian and I used to go crazy and put on this big show for the 4th. Ah, those were the days.. I wonder if Sebastian's doing alright?
